Jeremy Pearce - International Tin Association

Jeremy leads the International Tin Association Market Intelligence team responsible for forecasting tin supply and demand over the next decade. He researches market trends in existing tin uses including solders in electronics as well as R&D on emerging uses, mainly in energy applications, such as lithium-ion batteries. Graduating from Brunel University, UK he has a PhD in tin chemistry. Jeremy has been with ITA for over 30 years, pioneering and leading work on tin technologies and markets. 

Mayra Díaz del Olmo Oliveira - International Tin Association

Mayra is the Sustainability Standards Manager at the International Tin Association and leads the Tin Code, our ESG standard that focuses on several key sustainability aspects for the industry and encourages the progressive improvement of the tin sector. Before joining ITA, Mayra worked in different roles ensuring sustainability and environmental compliance, on social-environmental studies and ESG reporting. She is an environmental engineer, holding an MSc by Research focused on sustainable mining practices and mining transparency reports from the University of Exeter (Camborne School of Mines).

Joe David - Elementos

Joe David joined Elementos as Chief Executive Officer in April 2021 and was appointed Managing Director in January 2022. His career has spanned executive roles with private equity, listed and private mining companies, an Associate Director within M&A advisory as well running his own project development consulting company. He has managed the development of natural resource projects, bankable feasibility studies, exploration and metallurgical programs, project financing, corporate finance advisory, corporate strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr David is a Mining Engineer (AusIMM), Civil Engineer and holds a Commerce Degree in Finance.

Thomas Bünger - First Tin

Thomas has a PhD in metallurgy from Freiberg University and has more than 25 years’ experience in base metal and semiconductor industry. Before joining First Tin, Thomas was a base metals senior executive with wide breadth of knowledge across multiple disciplines across base metals industry with focus on non-ferrous metals, copper, PGMs and recycling. Thomas was also a former board member and COO, CTO of Aurubis AG – a world leading copper and multi metal producer.

Andrew Radonjic - Venture Minerals

Mr. Radonjic is a geologist and mineral economist with over 30 years of experience in mining and exploration. Andrew has fulfilled a range of senior roles which gave rise to three gold discoveries, totalling more than 3 million ounces in resources and resulting in 1.5 million ounces being produced. Since 2006, Andrew has been an executive director at Venture Minerals, during which time the Mount Lindsay Tin-Tungsten deposit was discovered. He is also non-executive Chairman of Codrus Minerals.

Richard Williams - Cornish Metals

Richard Williams is a Professional Geologist with a B.Sc (Hons) degree in Geology from Portsmouth University, and a Masters degree in Mineral Exploration from Queen’s University, Ontario. He has over 30 years of experience in the mining and mineral exploration sector principally in southern Africa, and south and Central America. Richard has spent the last 16 years in public company corporate management and is CEO and director of Winshear Gold Corp.

Jamul Jadamba - Mogul Ventures

Jamul Jadamba is the Chief Executive Officer of Mogul Ventures. He was formerly a natural resource and mining-focused investment banker, with an extensive background of capital raising – particularly in Mongolia and emerging markets.  He has well-established relationships with influential business and government leaders in his Mongolia; Jamul was recognized as the leading financial advisor to the country’s mining sector in 2011, and served as a non-staff Foreign Policy Advisor to the Mongolian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Northeastern University and M.B.A from N.Y.U.-Stern School of Business.

Gordon Neal - Whitehorse Gold

Gordon has extensive experience in the metals and mining sector, capital markets, and government communications. He was the President of New Pacific Metals. and VP Corporate Development at Silvercorp Metals and MAG Silver. Gordon also worked in the office of the Prime Minister of Canada as a senior communications adviser.

Hiten Ooka - AfriTin Mining

Hiten (Chief Financial Officer) is a qualified Chartered Accountant (South Africa) with 12+ years of technical, finance and tax experience in the mining industry. Previous senior management positions held at Bushveld Minerals, Eurasian Resource Group (Across Africa), Trafigura and Rand Uranium. He has dealt with a wide range of commodities, namely gold, copper, cobalt, iron ore, vanadium and now Tin and Lithium.

Frans van Daalen - AfriTin Mining

Frans (Chief Strategy Officer), a qualified mining engineer with 20+ years of operational and technical experience across Africa with multiple commodities. He is the previous Co-founder and director of VBKom, a mining and industrial engineering consultancy.
