The International Tin Association (ITA) is pleased to announce that Eloro Resources Ltd. has published its first Tin Code report, covering the period July 2024 to June 2025. Eloro is the first Explorer & Developer (E&D) Group member to publish a Tin Code report, marking an important milestone in the company’s engagement with sustainable and responsible tin development and transparent ESG reporting.
The report covers Eloro’s activities in relation to the Iska Iska Silver-Tin Polymetallic Project in Bolivia, where the company is advancing exploration and development of one of its key tin assets. The report provides a structured independent assessment of Eloro’s ESG practices and supporting systems at this stage of the project, and a foundation for continuous improvement in future reporting.
The Tin Code provides a framework for companies across the tin value chain to demonstrate sustainable and responsible practices across areas including governance, environmental management, human rights, health and safety, labour practices, and community and stakeholder engagement. Since voluntary participation in the Tin Code was extended to E&D Group Members, companies have been able to assess their current practices and identify areas for further development as their projects and operations evolve.
This first E&D Group Member report provides an important baseline, with future reporting cycles offering an opportunity to demonstrate progress as Eloro’s ESG systems and processes continue to develop and mature. This provides a different context from reporting by established, larger-scale producers, while maintaining the same underlying Tin Code principles and supporting progressive improvement over time.

“Eloro’s publication of the first Tin Code report from an Explorer & Developer member is an exciting milestone for both the company and the Tin Code,” said Susannah Costley-White, Programme Manager (Tin Code), International Tin Association. “Early engagement with the Tin Code provides companies with a structured approach to developing sustainable and responsible practices as their projects progress. Eloro’s proactive participation demonstrates its commitment to transparency and continuous improvement, and we are pleased to support the company through its ESG journey.”
Eloro’s publication provides a practical example of how E&D Group Members can engage with the Tin Code and establish a foundation for transparent ESG reporting as their projects and operations develop. The ITA encourages other E&D Group Members to consider voluntary participation and begin their own Tin Code journey.
E&D Group Members interested in participating in the Tin Code can contact Susannah Costley-White, Programme Manager (Tin Code), at [email protected] to discuss the process, scope and next steps.
