How to Register

Companies wishing to register, must join the Tin Metal SIEF via ECHA’s website as the first step. Once they have joined, there are two options; companies may wish to join Tin Metal Consortium or register as the joint submission with a Letter of Access.

Consortium

Companies that import or manufacture tin in over quantities of 1000 tonnes per annum are considered major players in the industry and are encouraged to join the tin metal consortium. By joining the Tin Metal Consortium you will have access to all the data rights for tin metal, however consortium members are expected to attend meetings, vote in consortium matters and potentially contribute to any further testing.

Letters of Access

By registering with a Letter of Access, there will be an up front cost (Letter of Access fee, plus legal and SIEF costs) but you would not be required to attend any meetings or vote in consortium matters. You will be required also to sign the Lead Registrant Agreement with Metallo (the Lead Registrant). The dossier will be updated and submitted on behalf on Letter of Access purchasers by the lead registrant.

Once the fees have been paid, you will receive a token from the Lead Registrant, that will allow you to link to the joint submission. You will also recieve a CSR and a template for creaing a joint submission dossier.
