Jeremy is responsible for the International Tin Association Technology team – tracking tin uses, seeking technology projects that will impact tin demand and linking to tin-based external R&D and new product developments, including, as part of International Tin’s growth strategy, activities in China and the Far East.

Jeremy launched Soldertec Global as the world’s first lead-free soldering technology centre in 1999 and coordinated the EU project ELFNET – the European Lead-Free Soldering Network.

More recently the team’s work has extended to development of tin recycling and energy materials technologies, notably tin in lithium ion batteries.

Business development activities are focused around technology consultancy services as well as membership, events and website development.

Graduating from Brunel University, he has a PhD in the field of tin-based fire retardants. He is a Chartered Chemist and a Member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
