Kasbah Resources has reported high grade tin drilling results at its Achmmach project in Morocco as it works towards the completion of a definitive feasibility study in the fourth quarter of 2013. Kasbah is targeting first production from the planned underground mine with a capacity of some 6,900 tpy of tin-in-concentrate in 2015.

The latest exploration results focus on the Gap Zone of the main Meknes Trend orebody, which is a prime target for initial ore extraction. Some of the best drilling results show tin grades ranging from 1.02% to 5.77% tin. The aim of the programme is to upgrade the confidence of resource reporting from indicated to measured category. Kasbah hopes to announce two upgrades of its current indicated and inferred resource estimate of 14.6 M tonnes at 0.9% tin during the course of the year.
