Unaudited December production for the Renison mine in Tasmania was released yesterday by 41% shareholder L’sea Resources International Holdings. Production in the last month of 2015 was reported at 645 tonnes of tin-in-concentrate, up by 22.2% on the same month of 2014, bringing total production for the year to 6,817 tonnes, a 1% decrease from 2014.

ITRI View Metals X have previously cited a 5 day shutdown of the mine in early August following seismic activity and lower head grades as reasons for lower than anticipated tin production over the first 3 quarters of the year, despite an increase in ore processing capacity. More details of the mine’s operating performance will be published by Metals X in due course.
