Asia Tin Week 2026 will take place in Kunming, China, from 24 to 27 November.
Having previously been hosted in Kunming in 2017, Asia Tin Week returns to China’s key tin production hub after a nine-year interval.
Asia dominates the global tin market, accounting for almost 70% of global tin mine output and 80% of refined tin production. In recent years, sharp price volatility has challenged the stability and sustainability of the supply chain, particularly in Asia. The growing emphasis on ESG (environmental, social and governance) has transformed tin mining and processing practices, while instability in the cost of raw materials has further impacted downstream operations.
Hosted by the International Tin Association, the event will bring together mine owners, smelters, downstream manufacturers, traders, and other industry stakeholders to discuss key trends in the global tin sector.

A combined itinerary of industry tour and social tour. Participants will first visit the Yunnan Tin Digital Exhibition Center (industry tour), then proceed to Haigeng Dam for sight-seeing.

Tin Smelting Branch of Yunnan Tin Co., Ltd.
Visit Tin Smelting Branch of Yunnan Tin Co., Ltd., the world’s largest single-site tin smelting base. Gejiu is 260 kilometers away from Kunming.
