James Willoughby joined the International Tin Association in 2018 and is responsible for co-ordinating the organisation’s statistics and market studies relating to the global tin industry.

The objective of this work is to provide more reliable and transparent statistical information for all stakeholders in tin production, consumption and trade. Notable areas of study include analysis of current and potential future mine supply, production costs, consumption trends, tin reserves, recycling, trade, global inventories and price forecasting.

James has an MSCi (Hons) degree in Geology from the University of Bristol.
