Jeremy leads Markets & Technology initiatives at the International Tin Association.

The Market Intelligence team works on behalf of tin producers to provide the main source of worldwide statistical and market information on tin. Jeremy focuses on existing uses of tin in solders, chemicals, tinplate, and alloys as well as emerging uses, mainly in energy applications.  

The Technology team is building researcher communities in strategic tin topics, including tin in sodium-ion batteries and tin recovery from e-waste, aiming to understand and accelerate these technology transitions. The ‘Tin Valley’ innovation hub hosts networking experiences including exhibit booths, live events and on-demand content. Regional networks, knowledge bases and project collaborations will support and expand work in other topics, including low-carbon tin.   

Jeremy is also responsible for  ITA communications, delivering positive messages about tin and its essential contribution to quality of life in the modern world.

Graduating from Brunel University, Jeremy has a PhD in tin-based fire retardants. He is a tin chemist and has been with ITA for over 30 years.
